Applying Logic Is Something That We Must Do Well
Four (4) “sloping lines” appear on the page before this one, the “Outcomes” page. The four (4) lines tell us nearly everything we need to know about economics, political science, and sociology, if you know how to assign facts to them. The essential part of all the sciences is finding ways to go about doing this.
An upward slope tells us there is a strong correlation between and among the points
running along or surrounding the line as it rises. This is what defines truth.
A
downward slope says just the opposite. Facts don’t match up here.
The yellow line
represents a “zero slope.” This slope cuts down the center. It represents lukewarm
associations and connections between facts.
This leaves the vertical line or “infinite
slope.” What this line tells us is of great importance in mathematics. This line
represents the values on the “Y-
